On February 23, 2008 I turned 2 Years Old! I have had a series of Birthday Parties and am now glad to get back to my regular daily life. My mom and dad were really exhausted at the end of party three, but they had a great time celebrating my birthday! My mom says she was happy to celebrate the 2 years of happiness and joy that I have brought them. That made me feel really good.
On Friday we celebrated my Birthday at my preschool. My mom made a cake and I got a crown, balloons and an umbrella from my teachers. That was really fun. I got my first birthday present on Friday morning before school. It was a package from Uncle Eric and Aunt Jess. I got a hard hat, some tools (I just love the hammer!!!) and a really cool back pack with trucks on it! After school I got a present from my mom and dad. They got me a brand new big girl bed. I have slept in it ever since and love it! I also liked jumping around in it during my birthday party!
On Saturday some of my friends come over and helped me celebrate. My mom made a couple cakes and we had hot dogs too! It was so much fun. I got lots of cool presents from my friends too.
My baby brother is growing in my mommy's belly and getting bigger everyday. My mom and dad have told me about all the things I get to help with when he gets here June. I am excited about being a big sister, but a bit nervous about sharing everything with my little brother. Please don't forget about me when my brother gets here. :)
I hope you are all well! I really miss my American family, but am excited to come and visit for Aunt Betsy's wedding in August!

Happy Birthday ZOE MALETZ. I can hardly believe that you are a big 2 year old now. Marinus admits it is so much fun. You are such a special girl and your minnesota friends would love to see you again someday.
