It's raining, it's snowing???

Guess what? It finally snowed!!!!! I got to put on my snowsuit for the first time and walk around in the snow. Mom says the snow probably won't stay for too long, but I am enjoying it. Now I know why mom was so disappointed that it didn't snow all winter. I am still hoping it will snow a bit more so I can finally try my sled out, but it looks like I am probably going to have to wait until next winter. For now I will have to settle for snowy walks.

We're gonna party like it's my birthday....

We finally had my birthday party. It was so much fun!!! Over 30 guests came and helped me celebrate my very 1st birthday. 10 of my little friends came by and played with all my toys, ate some cake and left a lot of cleaning up for my parents. My mom and dad were so surprised at how well behaved all of the kids were. No one cried or fought and eveyone had so much fun playing together. I got some really cool presents from my friends too. All in all it was a great party, but my mom and dad say they are glad it's over. :)

Daddy's little helper

Hello Everyone! I am finally over my chickenpox. Everything is healing and the scabs are starting to fall off. Thanks goodness! I am also feeling back to my old self. We are having beautiful weather in Austria right now. And that means I get to spend lots of time outside. I love to be outside walking around and checking everything out. My dad put the baby seat on my mom's bike yesterday and today we rode our bikes to church. It was great!!!
Today I helped my dad clean off the balcony. I am pretty good with a little broom, but sometimes I am not sure if I should put the dirt in the dustpan or back on the ground. It's all quite confusing, really.
My mom has started her pre-courses at the Uni. and that means I am back at daycare as of tomorrow. I sure hope it goes ok....I know that mom is pretty worried about it. I am also wondering if I managed to give any other of the kiddies at daycare the chickenpox. I hope they don't hold it against me if I did.
One final note: I am enjoying my new high chair so much that I have managed to dose off a couple times. Mom and Dad think it's pretty funny.

Chicken pox, Oh, Chicken pox....

Well, look what my dad gave me for my 1st birthday!!!! The chicken pox!!! Can you believe it? I look really bad, but it's not bothering my mood too much.


I have had a slight fever, but it's going down now. I can still play and eat like normal, but the doctor said I should stay away from places with lots of people. That stinks since those are my favorite places. Mom has to go grocery shopping without me, but soon enough I will be back to shopping...I hope. None of my friends want to come over because they don't want to get sick. I am pretty much stuck with mom and dad for the next few days, but I guess it could be worse.
